We prebooked as a group for a baby shower. We didn't do the private out of hours hire but paid a £5 deposit each for the afternoon tea. We were requested to pay the full balance 24 hours before. The venue were really helpfully and flexible with our numbers. The afternoon tea here is so good. Very reasonable at just £12.50 per head. You get a good selection of sweet and savoury treats and everything is really fresh. There's also a wide selection of drinks to choose from with your tea. Normally its just tea or coffee but here you get lots of tea options and cold drinks. No free refills. Take away boxes are available for leftovers. For the event, we were able to add a few of our own decorations to the already beautifully decorated tea room.

Amazing food, drinks and cake. First visit with my daughter and she loved it. Highly recommend the milkshakes and giant Viennese whirls that we took home with us because we couldn’t eat them after our gorgeous sandwiches.

Nice little tearoom-style eatery just on the outside of Kettering. Wouldn’t say it’s anything particularly special however what I had was nice and I would go again and recommend to others. The cakes were impressive (I was a bit gutted there was no carrot cake though

Lovely afternoon tea with such a good variety of food especially as a vegetarian. Super delicious and a lovely place to enjoy lunch .

Nice food but appallingly slow service. This was our first visit. We arrived at 12.30 to find only one other customer. We ordered 2 lattes, a panini and a sandwich which was all paid for up front. Our coffees arrived after a few mins. As our drinks were being delivered the place started to fill up. Other customers started to be served drinks and cake, but no sign of any other food appearing. After an hour, we checked that we hadn 't been forgotten only to be told that 'oh yes, we did remember you ordering '. Someone then came to double check our order and we were promised that it would be dealt with asap. We were finally served just before 2pm (cut off time for food). Had we not already paid we would have left much earlier and gone elsewhere. The food was perfectly pleasant when it finally arrived, but having to wait 90 mins to be served doesn 't encourage us to return especially when we then heard other customers complaining that their orders were either incorrect or only partially fulfilled (tuna and cheese melt on the adjacent table had been delivered without cheese and a third member of their party had had their order missed completely).
