I had a great experience at this volunteer-run cafe. It is a clean and bright place with friendly and cheerful staff. The coffee was fantastic and the food looked delicious. The £7.70 full breakfast was worth every penny. I will definitely return for breakfast again.
I will never return to this restaurant! The staff was rude, the food was overpriced, cold, and took 30 minutes to arrive.
This café is operated by local community volunteers and it must be noted that they are doing an excellent job. The establishment is bright, clean, and spacious with a great selection of food at affordable prices. I visited on a Saturday and it was set to close around noon. As far as I could tell, there were no other independent cafés or coffee shops in town, making this place a valuable service. Kudos to everyone involved in this initiative.
Lovely place, nice and relaxed. Staff are lovely, the drinks and food are great. Lovely place to relax and take in a lazy Saturday morning.
This is a friendly cafe staffed mainly by volunteers, and run in association with local churches. The menu isn’t extensive, but there’s an adequate variety of choices for breakfasts and lunches (they close at 4.30 and a good selection of teas (individual cups or in pots , and coffees to have with a varied selection of fresh cakes made on the premises. Food is cooked to order, so there can be a delay when it’s busy, but it’s worth waiting. There is a loyalty scheme when you buy hot drinks just ask for a card and get it stamped to get a free drink or piece of cake after the required number of purchases. For info also the cafe, seating and toilets are wheelchair accessible. And there is an indoor play area for small children. All in all a nice place to go.
