When we finally managed to attract someones attention (by stepping into the kitchen area as... read more I visited the Kettering Morrison's cafe for a snack with my partner. When we finally managed to attract someones attention (by stepping into the kitchen area as there was never anyone at the counter) we ordered a couple of all day breakfasts. Other than the...side order of chips being stone cold (which to be fair were quickly replaced) the breakfasts were acceptable, just (the bacon had probably been cooked many hours previously as it had the texture of a crispbread). Furthermore, in whatever direction you looked, it was impossible to avoid observing tables covered in used crockery and leftover food. None of these tables were cleared during the half hour or so we were there. Little wonder it was so empty when we arrived. This, together with the fact that at least one of the fridges in the main store was broken, meaning that the cheese products therein were at room temperature rather than chilled, and the fact that one of the two main car park exits had been locked shut minutes before the store was due to close, resulting in us having to reverse the car and drive up a narrow road that is only really suitable for one direction traffic, made the whole experience a most unpleasant one. I tried to send an e-mail to Morrison's to alert them of these issues, but this is no longer an option. You now have to complete an on line form, in which you also have to provide all of your personal details, such as name, address, phone number etc. What a joke. Needless to say I will never visit the Kettering Morrison's store again. Come to think of it, I will give the others a miss too.

Mum had a pie mad abs mushy peas , and I had a toasted sandwich , took a long time to come even though it was empty. ! Mums...was grey and boring , hard mash , lumpy gravy and my toasted sandwich well done and the servers thumb stuck in it on serving not a great experience and as gone down hill a lot

I nearly always have the cod and this was the best cod for value for money by far. I would go here every time for fish and chips. It was freezing in the cafe from overhead air con and had to move to another tab... read more Popped in for breakfast to break up our journey from Suffolk to Worcestershire. It was freezing in the cafe from overhead air con and had to move to another table. I had the full breakfast which was luke warm. My wife had a sausage sandwich which too was like warm. The staff were friendly but I have been put off going to Morrisons for breakfast again. Very disappointed
