Tonight's meal, in my opinion, featured overcooked chicken that was left on the bone and tough and dry. The rice reminded me of "cook-in-the-bag" rice that I often eat while camping outdoors solo, and it was too similar and dry for my liking. Overall, as a disappointed semi-regular customer who still considers take-out a treat due to the cost, I will unfortunately not be ordering from here again.

They used to offer little freebies... read more Unfortunately, everything was bland. This restaurant used to be the best in Burton Latimer for takeout at a reasonable price. They used to offer little freebies, especially when you spent £30 or more. However, the last three takeaways have been disappointing. I have given them enough chances, especially since there are two award-winning restaurants in Burton Latimer with similar prices.

The chicken... read more We ordered 4 main dishes, rice and naan bread to accompany, and all of the main dishes fell well below what you would expect even for a basic curry! The chicken was very dry and old looking (grey in the middle) and the sauce was so thick, lacking spice and flavour, so it might well have been wallpaper paste! Upon highlighting that the food was very poor and well below the standard expected, I was told ‘that’s the way we cook our curry’, no apology and no acceptance of such poor quality. I wouldn’t recommend this takeaway to anyone as I wouldn’t want them to waste their money of tasteless, poor quality, food!
