In the picturesque town of Desborough, our visit to some friends prompted a choice for a Chinese meal from the local takeaway. Little did we anticipate the sheer jubilation that awaited us, a gustatory experience that transcended all expectations. The delivery was exceptionally swift, and the service from a courteous delivery driver set a positive tone right from the start. Unpacking the assortment of dishes yielded a similar experience, emanating a distinctive aroma of delectable food that promised not to disappoint. As we settled in to enjoy our meal, the generous portion size became apparent, with plates brimming with delightful colours and flavours. The cuisine showcased remarkable freshness and delectability, delivering exceptional flavour that persisted until the final bite. We wholeheartedly recommend Dragon City to everyone in the area, and on our return, our top priority will be indulging in the delightful cuisine once again.
I have been a loyal customer of this Chinese restaurant for years and have never had any issues or complaints! Despite moving from Desborough to Rothwell, where there are two or three Chinese takeaways, I continue to order from this particular restaurant. I have placed orders both over the phone and through their online ordering system. The food is consistently delicious, the customer service is excellent, and it is always a great takeaway experience!
Had the usual meal for one . beef still in slices with the odd attempt at being sliced , chicken balls hot with soggy batter , bland and tasteless, seems like the ken sing influence has come through , will not be useing again ,
Ordered yesterday evening. About 6pm. When the food hadn't arrived by 7pm I called. Only to be told the waiting time for delivery was 2.5 hours. HELLO!!!. Takeaway food is supposed to be fast food. No offer of a refund. We will get you the delivery as soon as but it might be 8.15pm. In fairness the food was good when it arrived. But I will be looking elsewhere going forward
I have tried multiple dishes at Dragon City and some of my favorites include the Sweet and Sour Pork Hong Kong Style, Special Satay, Young Chow Fried Rice, and the Pancake Roll with Beansprouts, which I always have to order. The food is consistently delicious, and my partner highly recommends the Sirloin Steak in Black Pepper Sauce. In regards to a previous review, the Special Fried Chow Mein actually has CRISPY DEEP FRIED noodles instead of the usual soft ones. I would suggest the reviewer give it another try but order a different dish next time.
