Shogun - Ketchikan

I’ve never written a review like this before, and I’m really at a loss for words to express just how awful this place was. Everything was poorly executed. The fish was precut and dried out, the presentation of the food was off, the rice was dry, the wasabi had no flavor, and the ginger looked like it came from a cheese grater. I was extremely disappointed and I should have left before even placing my order. We were the only customers there, which should have been a warning sign. That was my mistake.

The food was excellent—truly top-notch! The sushi and tempura were absolutely delicious. My only minor complaint is that the portions were a bit small; the box with teriyaki chicken and tempura was enough for one person, not two. The cost was $17.95, and the California roll was an additional $6.00.
