I've been ordering from them for years and I've never had a bad experience, the food is great. If you don't like the price go somewhere else, times are tough. I love their food and will continue to eat here. View all feedback.
What Amman Yusuf doesn't like about New China:
Food was pretty good, but for the price, I would go somewhere else… All mains are $20-$25 usd, for portions that should be closer to the $15 range.Wifi is per person per meal. Their cyber security is on par with the White House, so you can’t share the wifi. View all feedback.
Reasonable price with good Asian authentic taste.. worthy to visit, use cash to pay if bills paid by credit card you have to pay taxes 5 percent
Red curry with chicken was spicy with flecks of red pepper, but had no curry flavor. It was mostly tasteless.
Great food options and fresh. Also, great service. Must try if you're craving Thai/ Chinese food in Ketchikan.
Went to a local card/hobby story and they suggested this place for good Chinese food. Came out quick, had large portions. Tasted very good. If I wasn't on a cruise, I would have liked to try more of the menu.
My wife and I were exploring the city of Ketchikan between excursions and decided to have lunch at the New China Restaurant on one of the side streets. It was crowded, but the server showed us a two-person table wedged into the front corner. It took some maneuvering to get seated, but it turned out to be well worth the effort. We decided to share a Sweet and Sour Pork dinner with a couple of canned cokes. We don’t normally eat much during the day and sharing the plate was a great idea. The preparation, flavor, quantity and quality were a wonderful surprise. My wife said it was the best sweet and sour pork she has had in many years. If you find yourself looking for a place to have lunch in downtown Ketchikan, do yourself a favor and give this place a shot.
