Bawden Street Brewing - Ketchikan

What a great local joint. Donna, the owner's wife served me a Mark IV IPA and a taste of the 9.7% Blueberry Porter! Your husband is about to withdraw from 30 years of excellent service in the Coast Guard – thanks for your service! Mark IV is slightly on the tongue, aromatic and with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste. The blueberry porter had big mouthfeel, and wonderfully dressed berries taste... no fun when the blueberry exaggerates the grains and hops.

This is a cool brewery. We recommend it! Nice selection of beer. The atmosphere is cool and beautiful and modern. The beers are very good. We love to visit here and will definitely visit again when we are in town!

We were happy to find Bawden Street Brewery early enough for us to find early birds from the cruise ships. (See for sure the hours) large small taproom with several seasonal brews. They offer a flight of 4 ounces pour. About 10 brews to choose from.

Absolutely phenomenal beers. Thoughtfully crafted and balanced. These are not your typical throw a bunch of hops at it brewers. The mixed fermentation beers were spot on, the ipa 's were clean and fresh, and the darker beers had so much depth. I wish I 'd had another day to go by. Only Crowlers for takeaway, and one of them sadly leaked a bit.

Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of their delicious beers. I enjoyed a pint with a friend during a cruise ship visit and would absolutely return every day so sample all their beers were it not across the continent :
