My family and I have been going to Evergreen since we moved to Kennett 3 years ago. It?s a great place for healthy lunches, amazing bagels, delicious juices, and unbelievable pastries. It?s small and popular, which can make wait time a little long, buttotally worth it. Highly recommend!
The cinnamon buns here are a MUST TRY! The atmosphere is so cute and inviting and I think it?s a perfect place for friends, families, dates, etc. The staff is incredibly friendly and enthusiastic and I?ve enjoyed every single dish I?ve had here.Definitely a staple of Kennett!
Stopped in today for the first time for brunch and it was delicious! My wife had the pancakes special (which I will get next time if it is available) and I had a tasty egg, beans and rice bowl. Very good coffee too. The owner was super nice andobviously takes great pride in everything. Her grandmother was there too for quaility assurance...lol. Look forward to making itback there soon!
It wasn't bad; it was just okay. They were out of multiple bread options. The interior is pretty small, so minimal seating inside, but there was seating outside. The coffee was meh. I believe they are possibly more known for their smoothies, which Ididn't try. If you wanna roll the dice on a breakfast place, give this place a try, or maybe just try the smoothies.
Courteous staff, decent pastries, flavorful drinks, and charming decor. The chai tea latte was spicy and delightful and my husband said his caramel latte was very good. To eat I decided to try the almojabana and their banana bread. The almojabana, though I've never tried it before I thought it was delicious and bought 5 more for my family before I left. The banana bread was ok but a bit dry, you definitely need a hot drink to go with it to really enjoy it.The cafe was cute but how the seating was it felt more like a dinner than a cafe. It's not really a table service because you order food at the counter, but it kinda is because they bring your food and drink to your table and take your plates when you're done. So I wasn't really sure if I should tip or not. I like how they had a little kids book section to keep little ones busy.Their drinks prices seemed fair but I thought their food prices were a bit high but not actually having tried any of their actual food yet I can't really say if their breakfast sandwich is really worth $9. I'll have to try their food next time to see.
