Nestled in a charming riverside village outside New Orleans, this popular Italian-American eatery serves generous portions and memorable standouts like an olive-packed muffuletta, wood-fired pizza, eggplant lasagna and decadent desserts. Attentive service and strong cocktails enhance the experience, making it ideal for families and romantic nights. Expect a busy house—reservations or takeout are wise—and occasional inconsistencies, including overcooked pasta, a meat-light chicken parm, uneven cheese on pizza and occasional menu item shortages.
Disappointed!!! Although the Sicilian pizza looked delicious and loaded, what we thought was cheese was allll onions!! It literally tasted like an onion pizza with Italian sausage!! You could not even taste the cheese. There was hardly ANY!!! The muffuletta, although large, only had 3 slices of meat all the way around!!!
Had the seafood ravioli, sausage pizza and muffuletta bread. Food was awesome and server Peyton was great! Several items were unavailable (seafood lasagna and vanilla canoli) but all the food was delicious. A hidden gem outside of New Orleans! If you're staying at the KOA down the street you have to eat here!
Everything we had was incredible. Huge portions amd tasty, polite and efficient service and very reasonably priced. Definitely on my regular hit list now!

At first glance food looks amazing/ great presentation. I got the muffuletta and chicken parm. Best thing was the muffuletta, I only got the half size and it was huge not to mention it was loaded with olives. Here?s where it goes downhill, the ?chicken?parm was basically fried breading there is more meat in McDonald?s chicken nuggets. The angel hair pasta was over cooked mush.As an Italian that ate homemade pasta sauce every night the sauce is unrecognizable as anything Italian, the menu calls it?gravy? which I assumed was southern slang for sauce but gravy definitely describes it better. On the upside they make goodalcoholic beverages at-least.
