It's fish chips Friday. This meal was recommended to me in this restaurant. Disappoint! I saw the first problem before I touched the food. There was a large pile of heavily coated pommes (I refuse to call them French pommes and insult a culinary parenthese). I saw her everywhere. You are the main reason why I never go to Burger King or KFC. Every food company that has changed these terrible pommes has seen the last of my business. The fish was severely broken and very crispy and exaggerated from the dough. The Koleslaw was a generous portion, but it was quite vinegary. Personally, I would never order this meal again, especially because of the fries, but the dough was too much. My server, Janet, was very happy, polite, and upbeat, but she missed an opportunity to please the customer when I spoke my contempt for the Pommes. There was no replacement or price reduction. I just tapped a few points from her tip. Friendly service, but next time I would try something else. I enjoyed other meals here. That was a mistake. Kemptville Family A really great breakfast lunch spot for young families, always accommodating and helpful when we come with our 2 year old. The menus is a bit chaotic, way to much going on with it, the food is decent but not the best I have had, overall a great spot in town nonetheless.
