Simply decorated and small, but warm and inviting-the funky owners are usually there-adding spice to the proceedings. before eating was great. we ordered them at night. it took an hour until they arrived and they were not even cooked. the waitress didn't come back to check us out. when we wanted to pay our bill, we informed. she didn't even seem to care. will not be back again. sad to say. View all feedback.
Love the food. Love the bartender/server! Made to feel special even when it's casual. Always good food.

Reservations on the weekend are a must too-and be prepared to wait and savour the ambiance and alcohol, this is not a'fast' food establishment...enjoy!
This small restaurant/pub serves fresh daily specials with new choices added weekly. Friendly service in a clean, comfortable happy place. They also have 12 craft beers on tap
We took our little guy there for his 7th birthday for a poutine. The sever made a big fuss about him getting an adult sized meal. He was so proud! Great food, wonderful service. Love it!!
My wife and I visited Joe's this past weekend and were welcomed into the restaurant by a friendly, efficient server. We're locals and this was our first visit. The place has been nicely redecorated and was very clean. Not overly large, I would guess the seating capacity at about 40 - 45 plus 6 or so at the bar. The bar offers a great selection of beer, cider and liquor. Limited middle of the road wine though; Jackson Triggs, Pinot Grigio and Merlot. My wife had her favourite, a **** Caesar and asked for it to be not too spicy. It was still a little 'hot' but nicely presented with a spiced green bean and a lemon slice. I was driving so just opted for a coffee which was fine. The menu is small but varied and my first observation was there were no appetizers to speak of. I had noticed that another client was eating a steak, which didn't appear on the menu so the server brought me a 'special' card, but I wouldn't have known it was being offered otherwise. My wife chose the steak @ $28.00 for a 16 oz. rib eye, garlic mashed and grilled veggies. It was cooked rare-med. rare as asked. Everything was quite tasty.I chose the beer battered fish and chips @ $13.00 and again was very good.I do feel though that the steak plate could improve its presentation to include either a slice or two of garlic bread or a small salad, as I felt it was a little pricey. The same for the fish and chips; add a dill pickle and a small cup of cole slaw. The washrooms were spotless. According to our server the menu undergoes some transition regularly. We'll likely be back. The environment is open and friendly. No cozy little nooks for intimate dining, but that would spoil the intent of this spot.I believe they are closed Monday to Wednesday and open Thursday - Sunday from 11 am-10 pm.
