For a vegan family, this cafe was great to find. Great grilled "cheese" and fries, tasty veggie burger and the teriyaki bowl was great. This will be a regular stop for us when we come to Kelowna. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Naked Cafe:
This is a neat, little restaurant with the greatest artwork! It's a relaxed atmosphere, serving only vegan food which isn't always the easiest to find. This restaurant needs to incorporate more vegetables to their current selections. Burgers and Bowls are tasty, but lack a variety of ingredients. Menu items don't change much and the fee is slightly high for what you get. View all feedback.
Lots of GF modifications available on foods which is great eg GF bread BUT no dedicated fryers and they don’t bake things instead (eg hash browns) so means the majority of the GF meals aren’t really GF due to high cross contamination. Not celiac safe
My server was knowledgeable, and many items were gluten free. Everything was really good!
Blown away not only was all the food INCREDIBLY delicious (we had the pulled pork kids burger Southwest Bowl Nula Bowl) But we were also so impressed with the service. My Celiac son ordered the poutine, and asked if it was safe for Celiacs the guy taking our order assured us it was. However, when our order came out, another woman who worked there intercepted, and told us the fries are actually cooked in the same fryer (they do not have a dedicated fryer). They brought my son out another upgraded meal almost immediately, that was 100% gluten free. She could have turned a blind eye and we never would have known (my son never has a reaction to gluten) but she was looking out for him and went above and beyond to keep him safe. Then the original server came over to our table to apologise. It was so kind and meant a lot to us and showed us they really cared. It’s sometimes hard to find food when travelling with our vegan celiac son but the food here is SO GOOD and we will for sure be back!
They have a seperate gluten free menu. I was craving a meat free, gf bun cheezeburger and this is the only place I know locally that does both. Two burgers for lunch came to around $50. The patty is gf, asked for gf bun and that the prep area be wiped and staff was happy to help. No dedicated fryer though.
Absolutely obsessed with this place. i tried like 5 dishes while in, and everything was superb. you literally can’t go wrong with anything. 12/10
