Chan Fortune Restaurant - Kelowna

We look forward to Friday nights when we support our local eateries... And this business is such a delicious treat to support...best Chinese food I ever had...exactly what I want when I order take out....and such great staff

We have eaten in many Chinese Restaurants over the years, and this restaurant is clearly one to avoid. The owners are super friendly and very accommodating, but frankly their food is not very good. Items were either over or undercooked, the beef in black bean sauce was mainly vegetables. We were excited to see another restaurant open close to home, but were disappointed with our experience, will give it a few more months then try again, could this all be inexperience?

Grabbed a quick mushroom chop suey from here last night and it was delicious. Large portion with lots of broccoli, perfectly cooked, fresh and tasty. Only 10.95 which I thought was quite reasonable. Regarding the fortune cookies, mine was wrapped so the issue has been addressed or the other person's was a one time thing. Staff/owners friendly. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu. Thrilled to have a second option in the mission as I refuse to go to the other one since they ripped me off.

Great portion sizes, no extra charges for substitutions and a huge amount of prawns in the deep fried prawns. We found the food tasted like it had been sitting pre-cooked for sometime.. Meat was tough, noodles were over cooked and the veg was swimming in sauce. Maybe give it another shot earlier in the day when the food is fresher?

Great food! Meat is excellent quality, servings are large and the prices best around! Moved back to Kelowna 2 years ago from Vancouver, and were missing our favorite Chinese restaurant. Couldn't find one that compared in prices, quality or quantity.. until now!! Love this restaurant and the sweet little lady that owns it!
