Bluetail Sushi & Kitchen - Kelowna

Stopped in and I had the godfather roll and super supper roll, the wife had dynamite roll and gyoza. All of it was delicious. Tough to find this place in the dark as the sign is pretty small and it is set back from the road. Glad we found it. Large space and we had a very nice server with the food coming out in about 7 minutes. Really enjoyed our meal and look forward to visiting again. Posted a photo above.

Delicious food and fabulous service. Understandable why they won best Japanese restaurant in Kelowna.

Same great sushi as at their bistro location, but there's a lot more places to sit! The decor/atmosphere is also very nice. We frequent this place a lot, both for take-out and eat-in. The service is always very good, and the sushi chefs craft their sushi rolls well. The location can be a little unexpected for a restaurant, but it is worth poking around to find. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Today I went to Bluetail sushi on spall. I hadn't been there (was the old Gengi) since it was taken over by bluetail.However the atmosphere was great there wasn't a table available (which pleases me when I go to restaurants, bc I know it's good if it's full at 7pm on a Thursday night) so I sat at the sushi bar had three rolls that were terrific!Highly recommend!

I love sushi... I'll start with that, that being said, there is sushi that tastes like it was made decades ago... and then there is Bluetail! They have some of the most unique rolls, different than what you find at all the other places. Some of my favourites are the mango roll, the tofu roll and the deep friend California roll. Mmmmm.... The restaurant itself is lovely, and trendy. The servers are quick and sweet. You never wait long for your food or the bill. The menu is reasonably priced as well.I have not tried both locations and have only been to THIS location but it's CONSISTENTLY amazing and I would eat there every day if I could! Go try Bluetail! You won't be disappointed!!
