A group of 7 of us went for a birthday celebration. The service and the food were great and the owner was awesome! The staff sang happy birthday after putting big Mexican sombreros on the two birthday guests. They were given complimentary drinks and a birthday desert! We were really impressed and surely would go back again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hector's Casa:
We have visited many times in the past and always had a great meal. Yesterday the beef was burnt and the hostess informed us that when it gets fried the meat gets like that. We have had this meal many times and never had it like this before. There was no acknowledgment from the staff that this was a problem. A simple apology would have been nice. Juan served me and was awesome! Could tell he was a nice human that really liked his job. I find that usuallys comes from a great workplace atmosphere. I stumbled onto this restaurant killing time before my flight and was totally impressed. They run a lunch special during the day for $15.. was nice not to get hit with High prices as I didn't ask what it'd be before, just came and sat down. Highly recommended.
What a fun little place! The atmosphere is great. We missed out on sitting in the back patio due to construction, but the indoor seating was fine and there are some tables outside in front as well. Great decor and friendly staff. The food was full of flavor, but the chimichanga was different than what we're used to (tiny! . Great toppings and tasty rice made up for it.
The Mexican food at this restaurant is delicious and authentic. The service is great too. I will definitely be returning.
Sadly I’ve had to come back and edit my previous five star review. To their credit the food was superb until my most recent experience. I picked up my food and the order was incorrect which is forgivable. I returned to the restaurant and they corrected the order but the food I was given was absolutely terrible. My burrito was completely dried out and filled with steak so tough and overcooked I couldn’t chew it. I ended up throwing it out. Churros were equally dry and inedible. I’m extremely disappointed as this used to be one of my favorite restaurants.
My husband and I visited this restaurant for dinner for the first time and we enjoyed the ambiance and the cuisine.
