I lived in Mexico and in San Diego so I’m pretty snobby when it comes to good Mexican food. But wow it was all so good. The meat was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The rice and beans were flavorful. The fries were also seasoned and fried to perfection. They also had good salsas. We got the carne asada burrito and beef carene asada fries. Last meal before flying back home. Also the service was fantastic. The cashier was so sweet and super cute. I want to be best friends with her.

However, I was truly impressed with the tacos at Taco Libre. I tried the mahi fish taco and the pastor, both of which were fantastic. The homemade habanero salsa was also exquisite. It's amazing that after traveling all the way from California to Kauai, I discovered an authentic Mexican restaurant that follows traditional recipes passed down from their ancestors. Thank you for bringing me the taste of grandma's home cooking!
