What a great new discovery. We met friends for dinner after the good Friday service and wanted something local and tasty. One of our friends said that they learned from a new restaurant in Katy, led by a big new chef Tha Roux Seafood. I hope this was a free day for this restaurant. We made a reservation by Open Table, but the hostess did not appear there to have seen it on her reservation sheet along with a big party in front of us, booked with OT as well. Once we sat, no one ever came to our table next to a menu. I think we were sitting before the staff could do more customers. I wish this institution well. The food that came to the table next to... Once we sat, no one ever came to our table next to a menu. I think we sat before the staff could get more customers done. I wish this institution well. The food that came to the table next to us looked so delicious.
That was our 2nd visit. We were so happy with our first experience that we returned in the following week (in anticipation of their great opening). We understand that the staff needs some exercise, but we expect that we have the same service as our first visit. Please call your servers to write orders. It's not a good look if you need to return to confirm what you asked. Secondly, at both visits we ordered the same bottle of wine to find that it was more expensive at the 2nd visit. I ordered the crab cakes as my duck both visits and received 2 on my first and 1 on my 2. Consistency is the key. If you order frits for a toddler, they should be served before all adult entrees do not last. Why keep your big opening with live jazz, everything is inside! Last but not least, if you offer us a beer and a glass of Pinotgrigio for all errors, please do not return with a riesling. We didn't have the heart to complain about the wrong complication so we left. We were so excited to have a new restaurant in Katy, but we can't return to good conscience...Signed, Sad and Disappointed

I am not sure why the bar was not open; they can still be in the process of obtaining their license, or maybe it was a personnel problem. Guests can enjoy BYOB.
