great first visit. our waitress was very attentive. the pizza was amazing. we built our own tradition. the only negatiw is that it took too long. they focus more on the call in orders than the customers who park, come and in the din. literal 45 minutes before we ate. very beautiful in the inner. I have always loved Grimaldi's but this location is terrible. The customer service is enough to make you never want to go back. We ordered an 18 half and half pizza. One half was the Don $31 for a whole pizza, includes pepperoni, meatballs, sausage the other half was double pepperoni and hot honey $32 for a whole pizza. The bill came and they charged us for the hot honey pizza plus all of the ingredients on the Don including pepperoni , racking up to a total of $45. We tried talking to the manager, Michael, and he was SO rude about it. We explained that we should just be charged for the more expensive pizza, or at the very least charge us for the Don plus an extra hot honey since the Don came with pepperoni anyway. He was completely talking down to us, acting like we were stupid, and refused to change the bill. We ended up paying the whole $45 for the pizza and left feeling super disappointed. There isn't a lot of good pizza in Katy, but I will be avoiding this one from now on.
I wanted to take my work team out last minute, and the Grimaldi 's managers (Anthony, Brandon and Mike) were very accommodating. Spouses of our team even showed so felt bad we had to request a larger table, but again accommodating! From the shareable Cesar salads to the amazingly delicious pizzas, the time spent was phenomenal. Executive Chef Paulina even came and not only introduced herself to the team, but also made us feel exceptionally welcome, like a family atmosphere!!! To our server Mel (Melissa), I sincerely appreciate EVERY BIT OF ATTENTION we received! Larger groups can be a bit demanding, but you handled with professionalism and class!!!! Loved the experience!!!!!
The service is the slowest at any restaurant I've ever been to. I ordered 2 slices and it took 35-40 mins for me to get it. The entire staff looks like they don't want to be there. This place is an absolute joke and they won't get another penny from me
Easily the best pizza in Houston. Almost New Haven style pizza. Pay no attention to the reviewers saying it's burnt. This is organically fired in a 600-1000 degree coal oven. I believe this is the only coal fired pizza in Houston. Possibly in Texas? That in itself is worth the experience alone! I believe Dave Portnoy would give this an 8.3!
Worked here for 3 summers and love it! Pizzas are delicious and everything is made to perfection, triple checked before served on table. The service is great, staff is all very eager to help. Seasonal drinks and desserts are always a hit as well
