Good patio. Food quality has declined. Service needs improvement

The Mother’s Day buffet was very disappointing. Food selection was limited, service was slow, and the percent mandatory tip was ridiculous

Went for Mother’s Day brunch. The service was extremely slow, we had to grab a pitcher of water ourselves so we could refill our own drinks. The food was cold, and the bbq was dry

I live in Firethorne and have been to Agave many times. This time the TexMex experience was poor. I had a party of we sat inside. Music was too loud. I asked the waiter to turn it down. minutes later it was just as loud. The waiter skipped one person’s drink order. Two in my party ordered chicken tortilla soup. It was chili, not soup. I ordered tamales. Everyone else was served and I was told my order would be right out. more minutes and I was informed that the chef was not cooking tamales tonight. I was offered another entree on the house. At that point I settled for something quick and a to go box in order to not hold up the rest of my party. If the chef is not serving tamales the wait staff should know it at the start of dinner service and certainly not tell me twice “It’s coming right out “. DISAPPOINTED

Mixed Review. Interesting ambiance, good food, average drinks, poor service. Advised upon arrival for our Wednesday reservation, that the outdoor Adult Patio was Closed on Wednesdays. Following service was poor. Wine glasses were dirty and had a bad odor. After the waiter disappeared, the owner attempted to remedy the situation, by replacing the glasses with more of the same, while explaining that they had been contaminated during recent renovations. Attitude and effort was right solution was not. Full price with no effort of a partial comp for the problems
