Wings Cafe - Kansas City

I tried this restaurant for the first time and it immediately became my addiction. Despite the high prices, I still order from here at least twice a week. The buffalo Cajun wings, both bare and breaded, are phenomenal. I appreciate the option to choose only flat wings. I always place my orders online, and they are always ready at the specified time with no waiting necessary. My little sister is a fan of the lemon pepper boneless wings.

Was told by the cashier it would be a couple of more minutes on the order. 20 minutes later it finally was ready and missing an item. Every time the cashier came from the back she was on her phone. Small portions, high prices for average tasting food. Maybe if the customer was a priority instead of personal calls the service might improve.

This is so sad. Wings Cafe used to be great. You could tell everything was made in houseand the portions were generous. Chicken is cheap! But today I ordered an 8pc boneless wings and fries combo all-day special and I paid like $14 for what is obviously supposed to be popcorn chicken, and it clearly came from the freezer. It 's dry and generic and disgustingly overpriced for what you 're serving now. I could have gotten the same meal with way more chicken from Sonic for like half the price since y 'all are using the same frozen product now anyway. I probably will not be returning, which is sad because it 's right next door to my job. Please do better.

For $11, the amount of fish nuggets pictured is what I received. They were bland, greasy, and overcooked as well. Also, I was told it would be 15-20 mins for my food. I ordered at 6:15 pm, I arrived at 6:40 pm and didn’t receive my food until 7 pm. When I asked why the food was not ready when I arrived, I was told they start cooking the fish at that time so it’s fresh and it takes 2-3 mins to cook. Other places they sell fish don’t do this but even still, I arrived at 6:40 pm and didn’t get my food until 7 pm…so much for 2-3 mins to cook. I will need be back…FYI: I believe this business is under new management; the group that previously own this restaurant no longer owns this location…can’t be because the food and service have gone down considerably.
