We had a wonderful time at this charming little café. There's outdoor seating available, and the interior is perfect for dining as well. The food was fantastic, and I’m eager to return to sample more dishes. I popped into this charming little café for a coffee. It’s located in a lovely area, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the mocha I ordered tasted more like hot water, and it took about 30 minutes to arrive. I didn’t try any food this time, so I’ll have to come back for brunch and just stick with water for my drink next time! View all feedback.
The Urban Café food truck provided catering for our "Harmony Is Not A Coincidence" symposium, hosted by Liz Pruyser at her farm, Red Fern Ranch, in Platte City, Missouri. I, Lou Sanders from The Darke Hirse Farm, helped organize the event. The food and service were outstanding! Thank you very much!

Ate breakfast outside on a recent Sunday. Pancakes were delicious, bacon tasted like it had been cooked in the fryer. It was not good. I will be back for those pancakes. Please spray for flies in the outdoor seating, they were all over.
First visit to Urban Cafe and I will definitely be back. The food was creative and delicious. I had the balsamic veggie wrap and it was outstanding. My friends had the shrimp and grits and pork belly sandwich and they both thought the same. The only negative was it seemed to be a little slow but it was lunch and probably swamped in the kitchen. Will def be adding this to my reg lunch rotation!
Friendly staff and I love atmosphere. When I went on a Saturday morning, there was live jazz being played by musicians using a vibraphone and bass. You order at the bar and they’ll bring your food to you.I got the urban bowl and it was pretty tasty and filling.
