A pleasure for shopping and a great owner. A place that would have closed but instead a chance of a new food experience in a virtual food desert. Do not miss the chance to experience amazing food from which you have never heard, and I highly recommend asking the staff what 1 thing they would recommend that you not be placed in your shopping cart. What User doesn't like about Jerusalem Bakery:
Food is good. I ordered a falafel and hummus sandwich Jerusalem style which is a dollar more. First they didn't put any hummus on it and they didn't put the pickles or the garlic sauce on it. Basically they put falafel in a tortilla and toasted and forgot everything else. In addition, several workers were not properly wearing masks. It doesn't work if it's not also covering your nose! I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is consistently fantastic. However, what really sets this place apart is the friendliness of the owner. I made the mistake of walking in just five minutes before closing, and despite that, he greeted me with a smile and warmth (even though I deserved to be given a hard time!). I'll definitely keep coming back, not only for the excellent food but also for the wonderful treatment I receive every time, especially for the Baklava.
Are you craving authentic falafel and hummus? How about an all-you-can-eat experience? This place offers a wide variety of genuine dishes that will transport you right back to the homeland!
Amazing experience! Be sure to try the buffet; there are so many options that you'll need multiple trips to sample everything. I particularly enjoyed the lamb and chicken dishes. It truly offers fantastic value!
Love this place. We have been here probably 10-15 times in the past three years and we have never had a bad experience. The food here is always great and we always feel very welcomed by the staff. The adult buffet is $10 per person and includes a soft drink. On the buffet there is Greek salad and a variety of other salads, regular and spicy hummus, pita bread, gyro meat, basmati rice, chicken curry, veggie moussaka and meat moussaka, and falafel. There are also always other meat and veggie dishes available as well. They recently added an ice cream machine. In addition to the buffet, people can also buy Middle Eastern groceries here and they have a selection of baked gooods including baklava. Can't wait to go back!
Amazing! First time dining there and will definitely be back! Don't be put off by the exterior, doesn't look like much but give it a try.
