I’ve been here a few times and enjoyed. Yesterday I went for a birthday celebration and it was horrendous. The hostess never acknowledged or greeted, waitress forgot and was flippant, food was too salty and soaked in grease. We ultimately spoke to a manager who was dismissive and seemed to think we wanted a free meal. I even offered to pay everything, it was not about money. I did want a positive experience and good... In my opinion, this is the best affordable boat restaurant in Kansas City, MO. It’s great to have a quality seafood option without the high cost of driving to the golf port. The staff is exceptional, and the food is delicious. The location is perfect for dining and then heading out shopping, and there's a parking garage right next door for convenience.
We had a fantastic time with truly delicious food. I ordered the scallops and chose a smirk as a side. We also shared the cuddles for a starter, along with their amazing wedges and hush puppies. Our server, Chris, was incredibly attentive and had an impressive memory. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Amazing time here! Wednesday is half price bottle of wine night. Our server was SO INCREDIBLE and almost like a sommelier when we asked about different bottles. Amazing fresh oysters and sooooo good. Good selection of West and East coast (go for the east coast!!! As well. 5/5 Amazing place and will be returning!
We celebrated our anniversary there. The service was excellent. My husband grew up in Jax, FL, so he knows good shrimp. And we had good shrimp. And the best hushpuppies. Everything was so good, I forgot to take a picture of our entres.
