The service was excellent, the drinks were well chilled, and the food arrived quickly. The restaurant was very accommodating to children and even cut my margherita pizza into smaller pieces for me. What User doesn't like about Il Lazzarone Pizza:
Just get it more done in the center, it's nice and crispy towards the edges but it droops big-time in the center with the kind of Raw feeling. Your stone remains cool especially the more you cook on it. This should be known by your Pizza cooker. View all feedback.
I am impressed by the pizza at this restaurant and the servers are exceptional. If you are looking for a taste of an Eat, Pray, Love experience in Kansas City, this is the place to be!
This is one of the closest New York style pizzas I have tried in Kansas City.
The best pizza in Kansas City, made in the traditional Neapolitan style. Great variety of drinks and wines to choose from.
This place quickly became me favorite pizza shop!! The pizza was made to perfection and the honey or balsamic is a unique yet delicious touch. We weren’t rushed and the atmosphere was like we were in Italy. Definitely returning!!
I finally was able to pop in and knock this artisan pizza spot off my list. Priced at about $15-$17 a pizza, kinda steep, but when I took my first bite, it was real, this pizza was made with love. I went with a white sauce pie. The CREPA. Added pepperoni and sausage and made sure to only have half my pizza blessed with the balsamic glaze (just in case they put too much for me). The pizza was AMAZING and next time I'll be sure to glaze the whole thing.
