Theva Cuisine - Kandy

Excellent culinary experience. I loved eating every one I had for dinner and eating breakfast. it was really delicious. that connects to the beautiful look this place very special!

Excellent food with great view. I had bark carpaccio as starter and mixed grilled as main course and both were great. the various breakfast dishes are also really good. a must go to kandy for food lovers!

I have been wanting to try Theva's restaurant for a while now, so during my recent trip to Kandy, I finally made it a point to visit. I had read about it being one of the top 5 restaurants in Kandy, so I made a reservation for dinner with Russell, who was very helpful. The restaurant is situated in a cozy spot on the hills of Hantana, and the tuk ride up was quite an adventure. The only downside was that we had to arrange for a ride back at a higher rate, but the manager helped us secure one, which was a great relief. This allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the town, which was magical even at nighttime. The dining area had a lovely ambiance, with soft music playing in the background, adding to the overall experience. We quickly ordered from the menu available on the site and enjoyed dishes such as Hot butter Cuttlefish, Grilled Chicken with BBQ sauce, and Chicken onion masala. We also ordered soft drinks to accompany our meal. While we found the dishes flavorful, we felt that the grilled chicken could have been more succulent. The service was excellent, with the manager and staff being very attentive to our needs. We definitely plan on coming back for lunch soon.
