Even without a reservation we were warmly welcome... read more Coming from the Wallis and the car shuttle train we wanted some dinner and decided to visit Hotel Doldenhorn. Even without a reservation we were warmly welcome and given a table in the gourmet restaurant (relais&châteaux). Elaborate menue with local and French fusion. We had deer with Spätzle and red cabbage delicious. The deer filet was flambé at the table. Portions are sizeable. Dessert presented on a dessert carriage great selection, tasty unfortunately serious loads of calories... great stopover

The service was good and the spa is fine, but the best... read more We stayed in the flat booked through airbnb which gives you access to the spa and other hotel facilities. The service was good and the spa is fine, but the best bit was walking up the hill to their Doldenhornhutte for an excellent outdoor lunch and views across the valleys. And there was a bonus of seeing chamois on the way up too, despite us having a dog with us.
