Just five minutes walk from the train station, the Marmotte is worth a visit if you are in the mood for some solid baked fare. We visited here twice, one for just coffee and cake and second for breakfast. Can highly recommend the Swiss breakfast for 14CH francs which included a variety of breads, jams, rolls, croissants, orange juice and coffee.
We enjoyed two lovely mornings having Swiss breakfast. Lovely dining area, beautiful views. There is an outdoor seating area. The Bakery shop is fabulous, food to takeaway and also biscuits/chocolate gift selection.
Staff was friendly and the food was good (just a salad and sandwich for lunch). The back patio is comfortable with nice a nice view up the mountain. Cash only but there's an ATM at the bank next door.

This Tea-Room is amazing serving freshly baked goods that satisfy any sweet tooth. Gorgeous views out the windows to the surrounding alps. A great way to spend a morning before hiking around the area.
