My first time back and I was rudely left in mid-conve... read more For many years, I've came here once a month and eaten here. But stopped coming when my dad passed in 2010. My first time back and I was rudely left in mid-conversation by the Manager who is the owner's wife. She wasn't even busy and sat in a booth theentire time I was eating. But once I started talking to her, she became mysteriously busy. And as the place was not even busywith customers. Only 3 tables with 2-3 people. The food is over priced for an okay meal. I had the hot hamburger which is just ahamburger patty, mashed potatoes, and brown gravy on a bun/bread. Took 30mins to get my order and a kids wings with fries meal.But the salsa is very good. I will only come back for the salsa and nothing else after this. Also clean the place. All the stuffon the walls are dusty.

Ordere... read more Must have caught them on a bad day. As we came in another customer said it was a one hour wait. Not to many customers in the place so we sat down anyway. Ordered drinks. 2 came, the beer mug was warm, no sense warming my beer so I drank it from thebottle. 15 min. later I found the server and asked for the other 2 drinks. The server said I didn 't get you the chips andsalsa did i? 10 min. Later and they showed up. No ice in the drinks. another 30 min and completely missing another drinkorder the food arrived. Take it from me, the med rare 16oz rib steak was about a 8oz well done old piece of meat. The wholeexperience took about 2 hours. They need a good supervisor to straighten things out. Very disappointing.

Our server took our order, and brought out chips and salsa. We all though the salsa was really good.After about 25 minutes of waiting, we asked our server how much longer it would be until we received our food (we told her thatwe had a wedding to get to . She indicated that our food would be at least another 15 minutes, but more like 30 minutes. We toldher that we couldn't wait that long, so we left... hungry. This place needs to get it together.

I got the chicken sandwich because my stomach doesn't love spicy food. The chicken patty was pretty small compared to the bun. The sandwich wasokay, made better only by their fry sauce. I got fries with it and was very disappointed in them--zero crisp, very bland.Probably won't return.
