Hau Tree - KAMUELA

Wonderful sunsets, amazing service, delicious food. my family and I ended our week trip to kona last week by choosing the ideal place to have our last meal together on the beach at the mauna kea restaurant, hau tree. we had such an extraordinary experience and were not as guests of the hotel, but only beach guests where they allow free parking and access to this hidden gem. if they are looking for a perfect evening with their friends or family to walk on a impeccable white sandy beach and relax under the palms and a beautiful environment, they will not forget the experience in the hau tree. fun.

Great place to enjoy a drink and meal without dressing up, right on the beach so fantastic looking at the sea and sunset.

Pork sandwich was good, but kartoffel salad left. fish tacos was a bit hard to chew through

Great spot to watch the sunset, on my favourite beach on the island. The food is just ok and there are some economical options, the drinks are good but a little pricey. It?s just so great to be able to be in such a beautiful place, that is not crowded and involves no waiting for tables. It was also nice that the valet parking was complimentary to be at the restaurant.

Nice beach restaurant. Food was ready fast and very good for the Ribs and Poke Superfood Salad. Perfect for sunset. Great service. You need to pay for valet parking.
