We have never had a bad meal and our dining experience has always been excellent. They offer a variety of options for kids as well, which our daughter loves. The quality of the food is outstanding.

The service was good and it was convenient for us to dine in since we had to drive a bit to get to Kamloops.

You can choose to s... read more We stayed in the adjoining hotel and chose to dine at Madisen's after seeing the menu after the person checking us in offered to get us one. You can choose to sit in either the bar or restaurant the menu is the same which...is convenient. The bar is nicely decorated and very inviting. We sat next to the window to look out at the snow and mostly frozen river. Allwin was our server, did a wonderful job, and made the evening that much nicer. My wife had a mixed greens salad and added chicken and a big bowl of fries). I had the ribs with a spicy sauce that was delicious and had plenty of vegetables. We ordered a bottle of local wine and it too was superb. While the restaurant was not too busy at this time of year, and we just strolled in from our room, I can imagine that you probably would want to have reservations at other times. We finished with the chocolate mousse as other reviewers raved about it, and it indeed was a treat. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience and left nothing wanting and is well deserving of the top rating. Should we pass through Kamloops again, there's no question that we would dine here again.
