It w... read more We ate here both nights we stayed at the South Thompson Inn as it was very convenient, since it was in the Hotel and there are not a lot of options nearby. It was pretty pricey for the quality of food. The first night parts of my husband's meal were so over peppered that he couldn't even eat it. The steak was very overcooked. The pasta with chicken or shrimp was good but not exceptional. The portions were generous. The second night I had the trout which was also good and I liked the wild rice/grain pilaf that it came with. The deserts were above average. The service was good. The dining room is small and intimate. It was very clean and pleasant.
