Pretty well everybody has eaten at a KFC. Some of them (like the Nepean ON store) are truly awful, some are excellent. and most are pretty good. A buddy and I had just returned to Kamloops form a week up in the mountains and wanted a fast food fix. We stopped at this KFC and were very happy with it. Our order was taken immediately and the food was ready quite quickly. The chicken was crispy (not greasy) and well-seasoned, just like KFC should be. The fries were good, not greasy, and the gravy was hot and tasty. AND the washroom was spotless!
The chicken at this restaurant is fantastic and not greasy like it used to be. It must be the chef tonight. It's rare to find hot, non-greasy food from a fast food chain.
This KFC location needs a to be either renovated, revitalized or closed! Obviously nothing has been done on this location for a long time.I ordered KFC chicken with fries, onion rings and gravy. I don't when the last time the frying oil had been changed .. everything tasted like old grease! The gravy was so thick, you could stand a spoon up in it.It was such a bad experience, I don't think I will go to KFC again. The Colonel would roll in his grave!
I have been coming to this restaurant since 1989. The walls haven't changed much, but KFC is still KFC. I always enjoy my meals here. The staff has changed frequently, but the service is decent.
