We got into Kamloops early, so stopped in for a bite while waiting for check-in time. Bit of a line-up due to reduced seating , but ended up being worth every minute. Huge menu selection, great coffee. Ordered the Western skillet and Banana Blast crepes. WOW ! Can't remember a better breakfast. View all feedback.
What bmatsuda doesn't like about Cora Breakfast & Lunch:
I've eaten at their location in Burnaby and was not impressed but thought I'd try the Kamloops location, only to be disappointed again. Food portions small relative to price, and taste just doesn't cut it. For my takeout, they forgot to include the chocolate spread and whipped cream for the strawberry crepe, and I didn't have time to walk back to request it. I love breakfast places, but Cora's has struck out twice. S... View all feedback.
Cora is a favourite of my parents, and we were invited to join them for Mother’s Day breakfast. It’s usually pretty reliable, if not inspired food, with decent portions and friendly staff. Our server clearly wanted to be anywhere but at work, and was barely civil, and low-key rude at times. Our table was consistently polite and friendly to her. The food was cold, as in full-on cold. No inquiry was made at any time as to our food quality or our enjoyment of our meal. We get that its a busy day, there’s no excuse for such wretched service and food.
I've been to the Cora's in Kelowna a number of times. Great place. The Kamloops one is also good. But did something happen to the portion sizes?? I had a healthy thought moment and ordered the BIG bowl of fruit with toast. Well...BIG it wasn't. It wasn't even Big. It barely made big. I was expecting more than the 3 minute inhale of watermelon, pineapple and some others. It was great but we rolled the McDonalds drive through afterward to top up the tank. Still I like the place but I might have to look around and troll some other patrons to see the portion sizes. I know...creepy, but I like value.

I love breakfast places, but Cora's has struck out twice. Service has also been lackluster in both places. For a good breakfast, good service, and reasonable prices, make the extra effort and head to downtown Kamloops to Frankly Coffee or Hello Toast.
I was in Kamloops to visit a friend last week (October 27) and she suggested we go out for a bite to eat. She took me to Cora, a place that she has been to before but new to me. I liked the idea of being able to order breakfast at lunchtime. We were asked to show our vaccine passports and ID before entry, which we both expected and were ready for. We both had Western Skillets. I asked for no tomatoes, and two scrambled eggs in mine, plus we both ordered coffee and sourdough toast. Our food was delivered quickly and was delicious. I now have a place in Kamloops I can visit for breakfast at lunchtime! Thanks!
Sometimes it is good but today it was not. The waiter brought coffee and it spilled on the table and soaked the sugar packets and he didn’t budge and then left. We had to clean it up. We both ordered benedicts and both our English muffins were so burnt the whole thing tasted burnt. I could barely cut through it with the knife provided. The hashbrowns were cold. Not a great experience. I have been going there off and on for many years.
