Stumbled across this place by accident after visiting nearby Cockington Green. It was a nice to day to sit outside and the menu seemed appealing to everyone. The kids shared a kids fish & chips which was huge and enough to feed both of them with some leftover. Hubby had a toastie which hit the spot. I had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Atmosphere was cold and uninviting. Staff were unpleasant and unhelpful. I was with my friend in a wheelchair and was'nt offered any help at all. On leaving the premises I struggled getting my friend out the door but was'nt offered any assistance. View all feedback.
Is been a long time didnt went to gold creek. Is a good place to go for a brunch with friends at here. Nice coffee and delicious breakfast meals. If you are the eggs lover , u may try here and u got the choice to choose three option for add in the eggs. Nice sourdoughs too!
The three of us had the crumbed fish with chips and salad. Hot food was well cooked and hot when served. The salad was fresh and varied and accompanied with a fresh lemon wedge and tartare sauce. Hot chocolate I'm told was good drinking and accompanied by two marshmallows. The green tea was good. It was a perfect day to sit out under the beautiful maples and enjoy the peaceful and picturesque surroundings. Indoor seating available.
I had breakfast here with my family. Food was perfect, really tasty and fresh. The staff was really courteous and offered to change item to another in the menu. The price was little expensive for quantity, I really think they need to increase the quantity. Coffee was too good in my opinion. The setting was too good, really liked their outdoor setting, will be perfect for a warm morning. They had different varieties of food and drinks.
Basic menu but friendly staff and nice location to sit. Coffee was decent and the kids meals came with a juice and lollipop. Prices were decent too.
On a dreary day, we decided to dine indoors at this restaurant. The food was decent and filled us up, but nothing stood out as exceptional. We both opted for a chicken, lettuce, and cranberry sandwich that reminded us of home. The menu didn't have many exciting options, and the prices were on the higher side. Thankfully, we were able to split a small pot of tea for $4.50, a much better deal than the $8 pots with only one tea bag elsewhere. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt.
