We had been told about this shop, right in the centre of Gunghalin place. I've tried the coffees throughout our 7 times in Australia, and this ranks right up there with the best. They do a good business. But staff was welcoming and friendly. Our...Cappuccino and Flat White were prepared to perfection. The beans they use are different than the run of the mill Aussie Coffee Shops which are still way better than back in... View all feedback.
What Neal Kessler doesn't like about Atlas Coffee:
$5 for an alleged 3-shot coffee. the coffee was so weak that I had to ask if she ever put coffee in him. I don't see the point to ask for her name if they don't call her. if your coffee is ready anyway.
5 stars for the consistently great coffee, tasty good value food options and cosy atmosphere. -1 star for for the piece of single use plastic I found floating in my drink. Invest in some stainless steel reusable straws and I'll be yours forever!
This team is right on it! Batchy is awesome, had banana bread as well. They were out of mascarpone but gave whipped ricotta instead. Class act, new favourite in Gungahlin.
Small, cosy place to have a nice breakfast . Good coffee. Friendly staff. Finally some good coffee in Gungahlin!
I don't give out praise lightly but this has to be the best place to eat and drink coffee in Gungahlin since it opened early 2017. Been here a couple of times now and whenever I am in the area I try to pass by to help it grow. The place is small and with few people as it focuses more on takeaway coffee than food. However, despite a tiny menu the food is fantastic. Even the simple toasties are amazing although you might have to wait a while before the food is delivered because of the small staff numbers, especially if they are busy.I will say that their coffee is now a bit more bitter than before. I don't know why but I suspect they have changed the brand of coffee beans? Nevertheless, the milk in lattes and cappuccinos is the most silky smooth I have seen in all of Canberra. The venue has a wide arrange of different coffees from espressos to aeropress. Price wise the food is actually quite cheap for their quality. Very impressed overall.
After a drive from home, we needed a good coffee. So glad we took a chance and tried Atlas. Great service. Very, very good coffee.
