Contribute FeedbackSam Choy's Kai Lanai restaurant offers stunning views and excellent food, with a wide variety of menu options to choose from. The atmosphere is great for outdoor dining, making it a wonderful summer dining experience. While the service was efficient, it was not overly friendly. Some dishes, such as the French onion soup and fresh fish sandwich, were outstanding, while others, like the elk special and fettuccine alfredo, fell short of expectations. The setting overlooking the ocean is beautiful, but some felt it was not worth the drive due to the typical tourist trap feel of the restaurant. Overall, while some diners may have been disappointed with certain aspects of their experience, there were still many positive elements that would likely bring them back for another visit.
The former Wendy’s location is impressive; great sunset view. eating is good, not spectacular. the service was attentive and thoughtful. there was a mix on our wine order and they have us 2 glasses; beautiful geste. her fish is fresh and well prepared. Fish trio was nice combo. recommended reservation for the front line table.
Food not bad, waitress left a lot to be desired. Asked for a suggestion and she told me “I’m funny” wasn’t trying to be.
Read many of the reviews on Yelp. Decided to form my own. And I give it an official...meh.
The evening meal of my man was good, but I had the worst dinner we've ever met there. I ordered a chrispy duck court, but the half of it was huh. duck is dark meat the half of this overly baked, then fried plate had white meat in it. they wanted to save it. it is an expensive restaurant to expect good food. DON’t order this dish!
Had lunch there. 3 of the five meals were very good. The out door view is amazing
