The Whitefis... read more I finally had the opportunity to try Thayer Bros food. My dear friend who picked it up and explained to me the history of this infamous restaurant. The Whitefish was delicious. Perfectly cooked as well as the veggies and mashed potatoes. The bean and ham soup tasted so homemade. My friends from Ghana had the cajun chicken taco salad and just raved about the spicy flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant for great food and reasonable prices.

Called and spoke to Kim had almost 20 guests and Kim and Rhonda got it done. The food was great the service was terrific.

It’s a bar/restaurant with limited seating in both areas, but we went during lunchtime so it was kind of busy and space was limited for seating so we sat at the bar. Definitely an old school type of bar and restaurant. Food was great with good portions. You get several sides with your sandwich along with soup. Excellent for the price. Parking is in the lot adjacent to the building. Lots of locals at the bar and dining in. Enjoy!

If you want food, and not... read more High blood pressure approved. I have massive high blood pressure and one of the few places been to that dosent drown the food in salt. If you want food, and not the tons of salt everyone else uses this is your place. Friendly quiet and pleasant place. Full bar connected (cash only with atm machine and slots) also note the bar doesn't skimp so might want to ask for less, a jack and coke is like 3/4 glass jack . so ya lol. Large portions. Ask for the ribeye steak and a take out box, they don't skimp on the food either. Homemade desserts.
