Our food was good but pricey.... read more We made reservations via phone and that process went smoothly, we arrived and were seated promptly. The wait staff was excellent. Our food was good but pricey. $27 for a shrimp cocktail? It was good but not great, the shrimp might have been out in the open for a while too long. Our meal finally came after about 45 minutes, the waiter apologized and offered a free desert (appreciated) I enjoyed my shrimp meal but my wife thought the flounder was bland. Overall, very good but the other two restaurants at the Sanctuary we're a level above this one (and amazingly, cheaper)

They have daily specials in additi... read more Great food with great service. When on Kiawah Island and want to try something other than resort food, give this place a try. They have daily specials in addition to a menu that already has a variety of selection. The portions are healthy so prepare to bring some leftovers home. The steak and potatoes were delightful, as was the she-crab soup. The price point aligns with that of the rest of the island so no surprise there. The gentleman who assisted us, John, was just wonderful; very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely return the next time we’re on the island.
