Was Juliette Leclercq at Quickstop a mag?
The prices at this restaurant are not as high as those in southern Ontario, but still quite reasonable by northern standards. The chili is highly recommended and delicious. The mini hot donuts are best enjoyed fresh, as they don't taste as good the next day. Be sure to eat them while they are still hot and fresh. View all feedback.

What Juliette Leclercq dislikes about Quickstop:
I ate here last summer. I know it is just a KFC and Pizza Hut but the service and food are below acceptable. Flavourless, salty and dry chicken nowhere near the Colonel's standards, I'm sure. Dire, even for fast food standards. The very young...school kids working in the kitchen and behind the counter are most likely the cause of the standards slipping. View all feedback.

This Subway used to be good, but management must have changed because it's not good anymore. I'll never come back again.

I normally wouldn't rate a Subway quite so high but this location has done a great job. I came in here after a bunch of running around in the plaza.

We didn't have many dining options and couldn't find a KFC anywhere nearby, so we decided to try Colonel's Farewell. This fast food joint is connected to a Pizza Hut, which was a pleasant surprise in such a remote location. It seems like there are similar setups in other small towns too. The food was decent and priced reasonably, although the place was quite crowded and we struggled to find a table. Eating outside wasn't an option due to the cold and wet weather. The restaurant could use a good cleaning, but given the conditions outside, it was understandable. Despite the minor issues, we would consider eating here again.
