Really awesome, authentic, delicious place doesn't look like much from the outside but definitely walk in and check it out. We were trying to find a quick bite to eat and figured they'd have some rice and beans or something easy and they sure did. I ordered pernil tostones for lunch today, and what I received was a plate full of oil with hardly any meat—just a lot of fat. The tostones were small and not worth it. I am very disappointed, especially for the price of $35. I won’t be coming back again. View all feedback.

The alcapurria with pernil and the mofongo with shrimp are definitely worth the wait. The alcapurria and empanadas are fried fresh when you place your order.
Delicious food, fantastic staff, and it’s quite a stroke of luck to find alcapurrias this amazing!
Fantastic food! This is the best Puerto Rican cuisine in the area. The alcapurias are wonderful. I had a great experience with the carne guisada, mofongos, and the service was excellent. Definitely top-notch!
Without a doubt, this is one of the finest Spanish restaurants in Jersey City.
