New owners. Now a Cantina. Great Tapas and Mains and Sides. South American slant in food and wine too. Chris the chef is amazing. Large number of attentive wait staff. Great cocktails. Very much more refined interior and patio (lounge). View all feedback.
What Jack Philpott doesn't like about Coyote Grille:
The wait staff was fine and no issues. They were kind and took off a percentage of the meal and provided a dessert. However, the main issue was the quality of the food. The Bolitas were slightly cold in the middle. The whole fried red snapper came out looking great, however, the inside was still a bit raw. They took it back and refried it which overcooked the open portion of the fish entirely with the closed side com... View all feedback.

The new owners are doing a fabulous job. They have made the place far more attractive. The menu has a great variety of South American foods. I had the gazpacho to start, and it was spicy but not overly. For my main course I had the marinated lamb chops. I love lamb and had never tasted anything quite like the way these were prepared. I certainly would return again soon because the new ownership has really enhanced everything about Coyote Grill.
Balderdash! The food is outright drivel. The tacos were wrapped in clearly a day or weekold tortilla made out of paper. The fillings were hardly seasoned. We asked for Sangria and literally they did not have any, so they dumped some fruits ice into a glass of redwine. Dear Owners- Please visit Mama Tigre or any place else to savor some good cuisine. The place is beautifully decked up, has a inviting European vibe with friendly servers (mostly high school kids) who bring a charm.
New restaurant owner operating a whole new menu and focus under the prior restaurants name. An interesting mix of Latin American foods. There are two separate menus and two separate dining spaces indoors and in a tented outdoor space. The food is very good. But it's confusing that the new owners changed the focus of the restaurant but retained the prior restaurant's name.
It’s not the tasty Coyote grill Tex mex that was a Fairfax staple it’s a minimal South American restaurant now no more breakfast tacos no laid back atmosphere
