Meokja Meokja - Fairfax

The food was enjoyable, and the service was excellent. However, without a reservation, the wait could be up to three hours. There are plenty of other great Korean barbecue restaurants that are easier to get into. It also seemed like they were not using the overhead fans, as we ended up getting grease from the grill on us and smelled like barbecue when we left.

This restaurant provided our family with a fantastic new dining experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating whenever we needed assistance or had questions about the menu. Our server was attentive and skilled at their job.

The food at this restaurant is incredible, especially the Apple soju which was delicious. The portion sizes are generous - we ordered a combo for two and it was more than enough. We also tried the cheesy rice, which was definitely worth it. Among the meat options in our combo, the bulgogi was my favorite. It was packed with flavor. Be sure to make reservations in advance as getting in without them can be challenging.

Great korean bbq. Brisket and marinated galbi were fantastic.
