Safety precautions are lacking, as there is not enough wheelchair access or staff available. The service and location both received low ratings. The only positive aspect of this hotel is that it is quiet.

The only thing that could be better is a firmer mattress. There are plenty of nearby activities to keep you entertained in Jedburgh. The rooms were fantastic, service was top-notch, and the location was perfect. This hotel is great for families and offers excellent value.

It's an old building t... read more We were travelling through, and my mum had booked ahead via booking com. Very friendly owner, great breakfast. Nice pub. Rooms very nice. It's an old building that Mary Queen of scits stayed in. It can't be changed in structure, so some floors are not straight and you do have to climb lots of stairs, so not good if you have disabilities Rooms: 5

The main issue for me was that our table had a lingering smell of stale smoke, which I dislike. However, this may not be a problem for others. The bar had a lovely view of the cape.

The owner was very helpful, assistin... read more This guesthouse had the friendliest staff I encountered during my cross-border tour. My room even had a jacuzzi bath in it! The owner was very helpful, assisting several guests with any problems they had. The only downside was that there was no on-site restaurant, but the local Indian place nearby was not great. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a delightful breakfast and found the bar to be fully stocked. We stayed with two children and two adults, and I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be returning in the future.
