I ordered a grilled chicken BLT salad, but when I got home and opened the box, I discovered there was no chicken or bacon on it. I brought it back, even without a receipt, and they made it right for me.
I stopped by Jack's drive-thru since it's close to my house. When I got home, I saw grease on the top of my bun, and the fries tasted stale. My husband’s two-piece fried chicken also appeared to have been sitting out for some time. While I know it’s fast food, I had higher expectations for the quality of the menu items at Jack's.
Jacks has always been a fantastic spot to grab a meal, but during my most recent visit, it felt quite disorganized behind the counter and in the kitchen. I’m not sure if it was due to too many people or a lack of guidance and leadership. It can be crucial to have one person in charge who can provide direction and ensure everything runs smoothly. Additionally, I noticed a small group of young employees sitting in the lobby chatting about work and other topics. It seems like they just need a bit of help to get back to the way things used to be.
I visited the restaurant with my grandchildren, and unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience. I saw a cockroach crawling across the counter. When I asked the person taking my order to take care of it, he dismissed my request, saying it wasn't his responsibility. He came across as quite arrogant, and I was really unimpressed with his attitude. Overall, it was very disappointing.
