We are big coffee lovers on holiday in Canada from Europe ... we love full bodied, aroma rich coffee with perfect crema ... not like starbucks .... we came across snowdome coffee by accident... not the greatest location (in a laundromat), but absolutely the very best coffee we had in Canada! Located inside a large laundry. The smell of coffee and washing detergent was interesting. If the coffee and hot chocolate purchased was good would have rated a five, but alas, as was the case in a lot of places in Canada, the coffee was brewed...and stewed in an urn after being drip filtered, instead of made fresh on a coffee machine as is the standard in Australia. I had a fantastic coffee at this restaurant! They offer various types of milk and gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions.
There are plenty of spacious washing machines available with no trouble in getting one. Prices are $7.50 for the smallest, $10 for mid-sized, and $12 for the largest (perfect for washing a king comforter). There is live music playing while I wait for my laundry to finish, and the seating is comfortable. However, there are no public restrooms available for free- paid showers and a coffee bar are available instead.
This muffin is everything I've ever dreamed of. My wife exclaimed after trying the pumpkin muffins. The coffee was also excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The Barista was very friendly and even made a bear design on our coffee. Definitely worth checking out!
Delicious coffee and very good service. Washrooms with coin showers very clean! Highly recommended spot when you have to wash your clothes or go for a quick shower after an exhausting hike or camping in the backcountry.
Fantastic service, and great coffee. Enjoyed an Oat Latte and a breakfast bar.
