My wife and I had an incredible wine-paired dinner this year, more enjoyable than any of our previous visits since we first came in 1997, when the place was known as Edith Cavell. The chef and the kitchen staff continue to impress year after year. Our server, who has been with the restaurant for many years, made our evening truly special. I only wish we could remember her name—she was fantastic! We felt at ease, and her extensive knowledge, along with her professionalism, contributed greatly to our experience. She really made our night!
The food was excellent. the weeping was at the top.
It was a good experience, but we hoped for a night of quiet intimate restaurants. on an adjacent table were small children noisy. hoped for a better ambiente and as such the overall value was a little low.

We dined at Orso a couple of nights ago and had the pleasure of Kieran serving us! He was so fun and knowledgeable and made our experience a highlight of our trip. We went with the tour of Italy prix fixe menu and every dish was fabulous, the pasta and the duck and the tiramisu were so flavourful and well crafted, we chose the add on of foie gras and truffle risotto and we were pleasantly full at the end of the night! Thank you Kieran, Orso chefs and the Fairmont for a fabulous Christmas dinner!!
