Karouzos Steakhouse - Jasper

I visited this restaurant on my first night in Jasper with my mom and husband, and we had an excellent meal on their temporary patio on Main Street. While we were browsing the menu, another group of diners signaled to us how much they were enjoying their meal, which set our expectations high, and we were not let down. I ordered the chicken souvlaki, and it was truly one of the best I've ever tasted. The chicken was juicy, the lemon potatoes were perfectly cooked, and the salad was simply dressed with olive oil, which was delightful. We received generous portions and ended up feeling quite full, with leftovers to take home. The service was quick and friendly, and I will definitely come back on my next trip to Jasper.

Came here for an anniversary dinner. We came on a Sunday night so it wasn't too busy. But they let us sit in the back of the restaurant at a booth all my ourselves, it was very romantic. The service was great, and we weren't sure what to order so we asked our server and she had some great suggestions. We had calamari to start with was very nice and also came with a Greek salad. I got their rack of lamb with was so tender really seasoned well. It came with so many sides, pita bread, rice, Greek salad, and potatoes. Hubs got their Spanakopita which is homemade in house, really good! It also came with a bunch of sides. We ended with the honey cake which was really good. I'm not usually a cake person but it was delicious.

A couple days late to post this review ... but I went here on a weekend. With latest restrictions that meant sitting on the patio which was great. They were out of a lot of main course options when I went (sadly no ribeye or sirloin steak), so I settled for the the New York Strip Veggies. The food came out so quickly I couldn't believe it. Overall had a good experience, but my steak was a little undercooked.

I loved EVERY BITE of the chicken souvlaki. Wow. Tender potatoes and chicken, crisp greek salad, perfectly tangy tzatziki. Shocked this place didn't have a higher star average! Nice service too.

This place deserves better review/ratings. We had a very good meal and we didn't feel like they were price gauging us. My husband ordered the prime rib and it was cooked as requested. Not only that it wasn't all fat. I ordered the Greek ribs and they were excellent. I've never had a lemon based sauce/marinade before but I was impressed with the flavor. In fact, I've never eaten an entire rack of ribs before until last night.
