absolutely fantastic. the largest part of the menu is marked by gf standard and clearly. corn pasta used instead of wheat paste. friendly, scientific staff. ambiente is relaxed and welcoming. I was so impressed that we booked a second night. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cassios Italian:
I don't know how to evaluate it. I was turned away at lunch to wear a sweet ball cap on a rainy day. they said we could eat outside in the rain, but we went to the raven and instead had a great meal. I think they should have listed a dress code on the website or say people on the phone when they are going. View all feedback.
The food was subpar. Since the name of the place refer to Italian food, I thought that we would get some sort of pasta. But they offered 3 pasta dishes and everything else. The waitress suggested the Fish and Chip. So we ordered Fish and Chip, Pasta Bowl and a beer. The batter on that fish could have being used on 3-4 orders and the pasta was watery. I was so disappointed leaving thinking we could have being better of going to KFC.
Simply amazing Lovely atmosphere Amazing food Great service Best seafood linguine ever Highly recommend
I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a shot regardless of the rating since many comments were regarding service. We walked in and was greeted by two women at the hostess stand. It was pretty empty when we arrived so we were able to sit in a nice spot by the window. They have old decor but home y feeling. They had a special running for the month 3 courses for $39. And mostly everything was included with a few items for a couple extra dollars. My friend and I went for that special. I ordered the cozze e vongole (mussels and clams). My friend order the pane farcito. We also put in our entrees I got pasta with Bolognese and she got Penne with Arribiata. Our apps came out pretty quickly. The red sauce with the clams and mussels was good and came with bread to dip. It was a very big appetizer. I tried some of my friend's stuffed bread it was delicious, but beware there is a lot of butter. Also, filling. We had to set them aside so we could ensure we had room for our entrees. There was a long lag time between app and main course. Our waitress did come over to apologize and keep us updated. When our pastas came out I did wish it had more tomatoes in sauce but it was good. My friend also liked hers. We had lots of pasta leftover! The third course was dessert. We both got turtle cheesecake to go. It was just okay. That was my least favorite of the meal. Other than a little wait time and the couple things with the food, the waitresses were very friendly and teamed up to ensure our table stay cleaned and drinks stayed full. I was surprised by the low rating. The deal was great we got so much food for a good price especially when we saw the single prices of each.
Was very disappointed. The calamari was tasteless. When the waitress asked how we liked it, we were honest and told her. She then proceeded to tell us how everyone else loved it and she agreed with them, practically arguing wth us. I then tried to give my order showing her on the menu as it was difficult to pronounce and she ignored it and continued to ask me which one I wanted. I changed my order and she laughed. The food was not great. Carbonara was okay. Will definitely not go back.
Very nice environment, their gnocchi is DIVINE! Do not miss it! I ordered a sirloin and gnocchi, the sirloin was very spongy, I couldn't even cut it properly so I would give zero stars to their steak
