La Nopalera - Jacksonville

I’ve been eating a La Nopalera before they even had more than one restaurant. This location is great. Food is always delicious and service is fast. I also dig the decor. It’s neat to look at while you are waiting for your food and are munchin on some chips and salsa. I always order queso too because you have to have queso! It’s so good and hard not to fill up on before you get your food.

Love the food! Service was okay. I would do 5 star but we waited for a while to get drinks and it was nearly 20 minutes after being seated before they got my toddler a booster chair. All in all, I would definitely come back, just choose a time that isn't so busy (Friday evening) to hopefully have better service.

I was underimpressed by the level of service we received. After 20 minutes of sitting at our table for our waitress to bring us the bills, I walked up to the counter and asked for it. When I walked up there, I saw our waitress sitting on the lobby bench on her cell phone; She didn't even realize I was standing next to her. Once I made it to the front of the line, she overheard my request , and she admitted she forgot about us and apologized. Everyone in that restaurant was working their butts off, except this girl. The salsa was fantastic. Their veggie fajitas were very oily, the chulupa was more like a tostada (still good, but messy), and their refried beans were good, as were their house margaritas. I'd be back, but I'm not jumping at the opportunity to return.

Asada street tacos and fajita nachos! Delish! Excellent margaritas! Love this place!!!

Always quick and always delicious! I usually order the fajita nachos but this past trip I ordered the carnitas tacos and they were absolutely fantastic! Service was great as well.
